Dr Gausihi Sivarajah FRACS
Dr Gausihi Sivarajah is currently working as a General Surgical Fellow at the Mater Hospital Brisbane, subspecialising in Breast and Endocrine Surgery.
She received her primary medical degree at Monash University, and attained a Diploma of Anatomy at the University of Melbourne. She completed her General Surgery Fellowship through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and University Hospital Geelong. In addition, she is in the process of completing a Master of Public Health through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a Master of Surgery (Breast Surgery) at the University of Sydney.
Gausihi is committed as a teaching academic surgeon and is the Junior Co-ordinator for the General Surgeon Queensland Core Course, a Lecturer through the University of Queensland Mater Clinical Unit, and an instructor for the ASSET course. In keeping with her interests in Global Surgery, Surgical Education and Public Health; she has, in the past year, been involved in teaching General Surgical Trainees in Suva, Fiji and Dili, Timor-Leste.
