The Operating with Respect course provides advanced training in recognising, managing and preventing discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment. The course follows the release of the RACS Action Plan on Discrimination, Bullying and Sexual Harassment in the Practice of Surgery and is a component of the required education for supervisors, clinical assessors and RACS major committee members.
The learning outcomes of this course are designed to enable you to develop skills and practice strategies in responding to unacceptable behaviour.
The key themes of the course are building respect, building resilience and speaking up.
Participants engage with course content through facilitated discussions, small group activities and role-play. Participants are required to complete the Operating with Respect eLearning module prior to their attendance at course.

Rural SET Surgical Supervisors
