Trainees’ Dinner

Examination Surgery

Guest Speaker: Assoc Prof Christopher Young

Experience seasonal produce at its simplest and finest form at the Agrarian Kitchen – renowned for their celebration of food. Showcasing Tasmania’s finest, the Agrarian Kitchen demonstrates the true meaning of farm to table – fostering a community of local growers, farmers and fishermen through which the mainstay of their ingredients are sourced, along with cooking school’s garden and farm.

But it’s not just the food. We are honoured to have Assoc Prof Christopher Young speaking on the night about the Fellowship Exam. Assoc Prof Young will offer invaluable insight into the format and content of the Fellowship Examination in General Surgery. He will address the most frequently encountered topics from the last 10 years of examinations – helping trainees to organise their studies and optimise their performance.

Assoc Prof Young is passionate in helping trainees to pass the Exam, and having the opportunity to hear him speak in detail on the matter is a must-see.

The evening is aimed at General Surgery Trainees and IMGs, but anyone interested in General Surgery is more than welcome to attend.
